Thinking that we were made for so much more,
We looked, and even if it had a cost,
We needed something that could touch our core.
The answer came in the form of a man,
Not a celeb; a man like you and me,
I admit that I have become a fan,
You ask why I'm so happy, you will see!
He has brought a glorious gift for all,
The gift is grace, mercy, and awesome love,
I come running at his every call,
I'm talking about my Father above.
He overwhelms me like a coming wave,
Just he alone has the power to save!
