You say you've felt
pain all throughout your years,
A pain worse than a cut or broken nose,
Too many times I've seen you shed some tears,
It's the cruel words on which you've overdosed.
They say you're ugly, they say that you're dumb,
Their painful words have broken your sweet soul,
When I call your name, I wish that you'd come,
I want to say some words to make you whole.
You're more than pretty, you are so gorgeous,
The mean words which they've said, they are not true,
That freak they made you feel, that is a "was,"
I want to help unveil the new, true you.
The words you've heard, they were too great a crime,
I see you for who you are, you are fine.
